Parker County Extension Education Association

The Parker County Extension Education Association meets in October, December, February, April and June on the 1st Thursday at 10:00 a.m. The meetings are held at the Parker County Agricultural Service Center that is located at 604 North Main St., in Weatherford, Texas. Representation of all the Parker County Extension Education Clubs are encouraged. All Extension Education Club members and guest are welcome to attend these meetings.

The objective of these meetings are:

  • To develop leadership and organizational skills.
  • To serve as a means of communication and cooperation between groups and individuals interested in the researched based educational experiences offered through the Texas Extension Education organization. Texas Extension Education Clubs are open to all ages regardless of socio-economic levels, race, color, sex, creed, religion, national origin or disability.

Cultural Arts and International Understanding – This committee plans countywide events and trips. Their main programs include: Home for the Holidays and the Recognition Tea.
